We Have More Flexibility
Even though we are a local daycare, we still follow the state’s proper rules and regulations. But we can be more flexible with our classes, the ages we accept, and our staff. I bet you are wondering why this is a perk. When we are more flexible, it allows us to adjust things to cater to each kid’s needs. Let us explain.
We can require a higher education and experience level from our staff and build a curriculum with them instead of for them. This allows us to provide your child with specialized learning and activities that teach and improve motor skills, problem-solving, and other day-to-day tasks like sharing and adjusting to a new classroom or schedule.
Our Classes Sizes are Smaller
Another perk of being local? We can choose our class sizes. While the standard one adult to three children is average, we aim for lower ratios in our infant rooms and preschool programs. This allows us to provide more specialized learning and care while offering more one-on-one attention. Why does that matter? While a one-child difference may not seem significant, it has provided many positive benefits.

We Make Our Own Curriculum
While we follow some common operational learning objectives, we focus on a diverse curriculum with our teachers and staff. This allows us to use their skills to create different programs, from our infant class curriculum to preschool.
Having a specialized curriculum also draws new parents to our program. They can choose the right preschool based on their values and what their child will be learning. But the biggest perk of all? We can change, modify, or improve it based on how our kids respond to it and parents’ feedback.
