Floater

We are looking for a floater to add to our family! This position requires someone who can adapt to different age groups and classrooms easily. As with most other positions, they must be filled with energy, love, compassion, and patience. They must have experience with all ages, ideally in a classroom setting. They must be able to adjust the day depending on the children’s needs and maintain a calm and peaceful demeanor through it all. The position will be part time (approximately 25 hrs per week) and the hours can vary but mainly be afternoons. The pay rate depends on education and experience.

Responsibilities for a floater include but are not limited to:

• Keeping children entertained and safe
• Know how to laugh and have fun
• Communication with parents
• Diaper changing and toilet training
• Filling out a variety of forms on a daily basis
• Maintaining cleanliness of the classroom and building
• Be kind
• Communication with lead teachers and other staff
• Ability to follow directions
• High energy
• Be adaptable to each classroom
• Smile often
• Put customer service as a top priority
• Interact with children to support learning, playing and creating
• Meet the needs of individual children
• Keep app updated hourly
• Fill out a variety of forms on a daily basis
• Adapt easily to each classroom and age level (infant through preschool)
• Know licensing rules and adhere to them
• Be happy to come to The Breakie Bunch everyday
